Mrs. Rose

The family

A house of roasting, two generations deep

Coffee is memory, encounter, culture.

Oddene to Martino

The blend that became a house

The Merlin family has handed down a passion for excellent coffee for more than sixty years. It began with father Oddene, a pioneer of quality roasting. In 1988 his son Martino realised a dream: to create the perfect blend. Mrs. Rose was born.

Today the house continues that work with the same dedication — the wisdom of two generations, and a constant search for the cup.

Mrs. Rose is coffee for connoisseurs. Whole or ground, the tin keeps every nuance of aroma, so the pleasure of the first day returns with every cup. Five fine Arabicas meet in one refined blend, with a lasting chocolate aftertaste.

Heritage

Before the blend had a name

A family at work for decades — roasting as craft, then as a house. The archive sits here as a still, then the page returns to colour: the cup, the grind, the tin.

100% Arabica

From selection to the cup

The roast is Italian heritage: family craft carried into every grain, then into the espresso.

Roasting

An alchemical process. Each bean is cooked slowly at a constant temperature until it turns dark, crumbly, and fragrant with 100% Arabica — decades of family craft in the drum.

Grinding

Millimetric precision for the grain that yields a dense hazelnut cream, able to hold the weight of sugar.

Trieste

Certified Quality Italian Espresso by the Chamber of Commerce of Trieste — a mark of the roast’s Italian origin, carried in the blend.

The tin

A rose, not a season

The house takes its name from the bloom. On cream, the tin is a still-life — crest, rose, and the cup it promises. The latta keeps the blend until you open it.

It is a house mark — the bloom the blend is named for.
